Nobel Prize winning playwright eugene O'Neill.
The Eugene O'Neill National Histori Site is
located at 1000 Kuss Road in the San Francisco

Fort Point National Historic Site
This fort located on the southern side of the Golden
Gate Bridge entrance to the the San Francisco Bay
is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
John Muir National Historic Site
Includes the Italianate Victorian mansion where naturalist and
write John Muir lived plus 325 acres of grasslands
and native oak woodlands historically owned by the
Muir family. The John Muir National Historic Site is
located in the town of Martinez in the
San Francisco east bay area of Northern California.
Manzanar National Historic Site
National historic site on the best-preserved
of the prison camps used to house Japanese-Americans
who were forcefully relocated during World War II.
Located at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains
in the Owens Valley of Central California. The first
prisoners arrived at Manzanar in 1942 and the last prisoners
left in 1945. The Manzanar National Historic site
is located about 230 miles northeast of Los Angeles
in the Owens Valley of Central California.
