Pioneertown California

Experience the wild west in Pioneertown, San Bernardino County, Southern California. California. Built in 1946 as a western movie set for Gene Autry, Cisco Kid, and Annie Oakley films. Today it is a family attractions featuring old west buildings, buggies, stagecoaches, wild west gunfights, and a bowling alley opened by Roy Rogers in 1949. Located about a 15 minute drive from Joshua Tree State Park.

Pappy and Harriet's Pioneertown Palace
Saloon style restaurant and music hall serving Tex-Mex food. Established in 2003 by Robyn Celia and Linda Krantz.

Pioneertown Motel
18 room motel on three acres of land with corrals for boarding up to 15 horses, a round horse pen, and a display of antique wagons. Rooms have either a queen bed, a king bed, or two twin beds and non-hook-up sites are available for recreational vehicles. Located behind Pappy' and Harriet's Saloon and Music Hall at 5040 Curtis Road in Pioneertown. Phone: 760-365-7001 Rooms have a rustic cowboy decor and they have names such as the Annie Oakley Room and the John Wayne Room.
