DESCRIPTION: Small, one story, rectangular
Craftsman style bungalow with a front facing gable.
The home's first residents were Charles C. and Rena Kinsler.
Dr. Walter W. Davis House
YEAR BUILT: 1920
LOCATION: 101 South Redwood Avenue
DESCRIPTION:
Built by Dr. Davis as his home and office.
He praciced in Brea from before 1914 through
the late 1920's.
Edgar Jamison House

Frank Woodard House

DESCRIPTION:
California bungalow that was part of the Union Oil Company
subdivision built to provide housing for company employees.
Good Old Brea Clock
YEAR BUILT: 1920
LOCATION: Madrona Avenue and Birch Street
DESCRIPTION: Clocked place on Brea Boulevard in 1975
to advertise a clock store in the old Brea Hotel.
The sign may have been acuired from an old Inland Empire
train station, butits origins have not been confirmed.
Also known as Charlie's Clock after the clock shop owner.
The city purchased the clock when the store went out of business
and today it is one of brea's most significant landmarks.

The original inhabitants of the house were Charles C.
and Rena Kinsler when the house was first built in
1912. The house is a small one-story rectangular plan

Old American Legion Hall
YEAR BUILT: 1930
LOCATION: 495 South Brea Boulevard
DESCRIPTION:
When the Legion could not make their mortgage payments
in the 1930's the property was taken over by the City.
Beginning in the 1970's it housed the Brea Police Station and Jail.
Later it housed the Brea Methodist Church congregation and in the 1990's
it was used for emergency ambulance services.

Brea’s first publicly owned municipal government facility
was the city hall for more than 50 years.

Originally a Boy Scout clubhouse and later used
as a meeting hall for the local women's club,
junior women's club, and Lion's club.

Seagrave Fire Truck
YEAR BUILT: 1923
LOCATION: 400 North Kraemer Boulevard
DESCRIPTION:
One of the oldest fire trucks in Orange County.
William Casner House
YEAR BUILT: 1915
LOCATION: 121 South Redwood Boulevard
DESCRIPTION: Built for the Casner family in about
1915. William Casner arrived in Brea in 1910 making
him one of the area's earliest settlers.
He was responsible for drilling the first oil well on the
Amalgamaed Lease and he was a member of the Brea Investment Company.
