History

2013:
DB Outdoors exercised their option to return the California Billfish tournament to its previous owners, who (as of 2013) were looking for a new event operator.

2011:
"DB Outdoors Dot Com" purchased the three tournaments in the California Billfish series from Offshore Tournaments Inc.

2005:
Offshore Tournamentys Inc. purchased the three tournaments in the California Billfish series from Harvey Hunnicuty.
