Highland Springs Reservoir
146-acre lake located within the 3200 acre Highland Springs Recreation Area.
Activities include biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, and non-powered boating.
Facilities includea pistol and rifle shooting range,
a trap shooting range, picnic area, restrooms, basketball court, horseshoe pits,
disc golf course, and a large grassy area.
Located about 8 miles south of Clear Lake and the City of Lakeport.
(no overnight camping or other accommodations)
NORTHEAST OF CLEAR LAKE
Indian Valley Reservoir
Lake about 4,000 acres in size created by building the Indian
Valley Dam over the north fork of Cache Creek. The lake is located within
the Walker Ridge Recreation area that is managed by the
Bureau of Land Management.
Recreational activities include
bicycling, boating, camping fishing, hiking, horseback riding,
and hunting.
Indian Valley Reservoi8r is located northeast of Clear Lake,
and about a 30 mile drive from the north shore of Clear Lake

Pillsbury Lake
Lake created by building the Scott Dam over the Eel River.
The lake has a surface area of more then 2000 acres.
Recreational activities include fishing, hang gliding,
hiking ,picnics, powerboating, sailing, and swimming.
Lake Pillsbury is located north of Clear Lake and within
the Mendocino National Forest.
