Fight 261 Memorial Sundial
Memorial to the 88 passengers and crew who lost their lives when Alaska Airlines flight 261 crashed in the water between Port Hueneme and Anacapa Island on January 31, 2000. The memorial includes a concrete plaza 36 feet in diameter with a raised sundial in the center that is 20 feet in diamater. Designed by Santa Barbara Sculptor James Bottoms.
