Fishing from the dam is prohibited. Fishing boats must not impede waterskiiers safe access to the beach. Trolling anglers must display a white trolling flag to warn other boaters they are trailing a line.

Only allowed within 50 feet of the shore, within a designated swimming area, within 20 feet of a private dock, or as needed for recreational towing activities or in case of emergency. No swimming is allowed in the Stanfield Marsh Waterfowl Preserve onthe east end of the lake.
