Very small town on the northwest boundry of the Mojave National Preserve.
It is situated on Interstate highway 15, which connects the town
with Barstow in the southwest with Las Vegas in the northeast.
Highway 127 connects Baker with Death Valley National Park.
Most of Baker's visitors are using the town as a rest stop while
traveling between those sites.
