Shasta Damboree
Annual parade and family festival dedicated to the men and women who built the Shasta Dam. Held the first weekend in May. The event features a parade down main street, a festival after the parade in Clair Engle Park, selection of a festival king and queen, a pancake breakfast, a classic car poker run, and a car show in Margaret Polf Park. Summer Friday Nights in the Park
Friday night concert series and community celebration usually held June through mid August in the city of Shasta lake's Clair Engle Park. In addition to a live music concert the event features food, arts, and crafts booths, a farmer's market, and beer and wine sales. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
