Benicia Capitol State Historic Park
State historic park centered around the State of California's third capitol building where the California State Legislature convened for one year in 1853 and 1854, after which timel the state capitol was moved to Sacramento. The building has been designated United States National Historic Place #71000204 and California State Historical Landmark #153.

Benicia State Recreation Area
Recreation area about 450 acres in size that was established in 1957. Preserves a tidal wetland area on the Carquinez Straight.
