Lake Success
Reservoir lake with a 2,450 acre surface area that was created in 1961 by building the 156 feet high Success Dam across the Tule River. The lake was created to provide flood control but it also provides irrigation water and is used for recreation. There is a county-managed park at Lake Success with facilities for boating, fishing, camping, and picnics. Success Lake is located about 10 miles east of of Porterville on Highway 190. Camp sites can be reserved by calling 559-784-0215.

Lake Kaweah
Reservoir lake with a 1,945 acre surface area that was created by building the Terminus Dam across the Kaweah River. The lake was created to provide flood control but it also used for recreation. There is a county-managed park at Lake Kaweah with facilities for boating, fishing, camping, and picnics. Camp sites can be reserved by calling 559-597-2301. Lake Kaweah is located about 5 miles northeast of Lemon Cove and about 25 miles east of Visalia, on Highway 198.

Eagle Lake
Natural alpine lake with a 20 acre surface area. Eagle Lake is situated about 10,000 feet above sea level in the Southern Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, near the Mineral King area of Sequoia National Park. It can be access by hiking 3.5 miles from Mineral King Valley.
