Allensworth Museums

Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park
State of California historic park featuring nine restored buildings of a historic farming town founded, financed and governed by African Americans. Located on the Central Valley Highway (California State Route 43), about 33 miles south of Tulare and about 35 miles southwest of Porterville

Dinuba Museums

Dinuba Southern Pacific Depot Museum
Museum inside the Southern Pacific Railroad Depot built in 1888 when railroad tracks were being extended from Fresno through Dinuba to Visalia. The original depot structure was at least partially destroyed by a fire in 1911. Today's museum is operated by the Alta District Historical Society. Dinuba's Southern Pacific Depot Museum is located at 289 South "K" Street.

Exeter Museums

Exeter Historical Museum and Gallery
Art gallery and historical museum open to the public on weekends. Also known as the "Courthouse Gallery and Museum". Located at 125 South "B" Street in Exeter.

Porterville Museums

Porterville Historical Museum
Museum established in 1965 to preserve and share local history of the Porterville area. The museum is housed inside a Souther Pacific Railroad depot that was built in 1913. Located at 257 North "D" Street in Porterville.

Zalud Historic Home
Historic Victorian period home officially designated as a United States National Historic Places. Tours are available. Located at 393 North Hockett Street in Porterville.

Sequoia National Park Museums

Giant Forest Museum
Museum situated inside the Giant Forest Market Building, a structure listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places. The building was renovated between 1999 and 2001 and it opened as into a museum and visitor center in the Summer of 2001.

Museum established to preserve and share the local history of the Tulare area. Located at 444 West Tulare Ave in the city of Tulare.

Visalia Museums

Antique Farm Equipment Museum
Museum with exhibits related to the history of the World Ag Expo, one of the largest annual farm equipment shows in the world. Exhibits include restored antique tractors, farm implements, team engines and photos and stores about the history of farming and ranching in the Central Valley of California. The museum is located within the International Agri-Center at 4500 South Laspina Street in Visalia.

ImagineU Children's Museum
Children's museum established in August of 2002 to inspire children through interactive and educational experiences by providing multi-cultural, hands-on learning through the sciences, environmental conservation, and the arts. Located at 210 North Tipton Street in Visalia.

Tulare County Museum
Museum operated by the Tulare County Historic Society. Exhibits include Native American baskets, pioneer artifacts, agriculture equipment, and restored buildings. Located within Mooney Grove County Park at 27000 South Mooney Booulevard in Visalia.
